What is Pons? Pons is a non-custodial token-launch and trading platform on Robinhood Chain, while PONS is its native cryptocurrency. The platform lets users create fixed-supply ERC-20 tokens, trade them through bonding curves, and graduate successful launches into Uniswap v4 liquidity pools.

Technology and use cases

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 built using Arbitrum technology. Pons v2 uses a launch factory, separate bonding curves, fixed-supply token contracts, a Uniswap v4 hook, fee escrow, buyback vaults, a liquidity locker and graduation controls. Users connect their own wallets and sign transactions, so the platform does not custody funds.

A token launch begins with creation and an initial bonding-curve market. The price rises as purchases reduce the available supply and falls when tokens are sold. Once a launch reaches its graduation threshold, the remaining liquidity is used to create a Uniswap v4 pool. The liquidity position is transferred to a locker intended to prevent withdrawal.

The main applications are permissionless token creation, on-chain trading and creator fee generation. Pons supports meme coins, community tokens and experimental projects, with selected launches also able to use approved assets, including tokenized stocks, as quote currencies. The platform also includes community takeovers for abandoned launches, allowing fee recipients to change without altering token supply or locked liquidity.

Who is behind Pons and where is it based?

Public reporting identifies the pseudonymous developer Ozzy, also known as MEADGod, as the founder or builder behind Pons. The official documentation does not publish a real name, biographies or a complete list of developers. Pons launched in July 2026, and its v2 contracts were deployed on 3 August 2026.

The Pons application identifies Pons Labs, LLC, but the available sources do not confirm the company’s state or country of incorporation, registered office or operating jurisdiction. The country where the team operates is therefore not publicly confirmed. No verified foundation structure, institutional investors or detailed financing history has been disclosed.

Tokenomics and market data

CoinStats recorded PONS at $0.5266 on 1 October 2026, with a 24h change of -3.17%. Its market cap was $359.19M, ranking #193, and 24h volume was $49.16M. The all-time high was $0.971, leaving the current price 45.77% below it.

Circulating supply stood at 682,049,580 PONS, compared with a total supply of 682,057,113 PONS. Earlier project materials associated the token with an initial supply of 1 billion PONS, while reported buyback-and-burn activity has reduced supply. A complete allocation table covering team, treasury, investors, liquidity and vesting was not published in the reviewed materials.

Pons reports using part of protocol revenue to buy and burn PONS, creating a deflationary mechanism. The available documentation does not describe a regular inflation schedule, staking emissions or an ongoing minting program for PONS.

Consensus and security

Pons is an application protocol rather than an independent blockchain and has no separate consensus mechanism. Transaction ordering and network security come from Robinhood Chain. At the application level, wallet-signed transactions, fixed launch parameters, slippage controls, escrowed fees and permanent liquidity locking enforce key rules.

The v2 documentation also describes a temporary anti-sniping tax on early purchases, fixed creator taxes that cannot be increased after launch and permissionless graduation if an automatic migration fails. Security reviews by SB Security, Dingbats and Pashov Audit Group were reported as in progress, with final reports not yet published in the reviewed documentation.

Partnerships, advantages and development

Pons is integrated with Robinhood Chain and Uniswap v4. Graduated launches use Uniswap infrastructure, allowing compatible routers and aggregators to interact with the pools. The platform also supports approved custom pairs involving ecosystem assets and tokenized stocks. Uniswap Labs reportedly purchased PONS in September 2026, although the transaction size and terms were not disclosed.

Its main differentiators are the launch-to-liquidity workflow, non-custodial design, permanently locked graduated liquidity, fixed launch settings and revenue-linked buybacks. The principal development milestone is v2, which added bonding curves, Uniswap v4 graduation, fee accounting, buyback vaults, community takeovers and custom quote assets. Documentation also states that public launching was temporarily restricted to whitelisted addresses while development and audits continued.
