In our area, the brand was promoting an interesting and unusual range of exclusive Roobet games, largely made up of arcade titles like Towers, Coinflip and the popular Roobet chicken game, Mission Uncrossable. Meanwhile, Roobet’s largest game category, which is the slot game section, predominantly featured externally-sourced games from familiar software names like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City. Naturally, recognized RNGs are used on all games powered by such developers, in regions where said games are available.

So how do prediction markets actually work? Unlike traditional betting, you're not placing wagers on fixed odds. Instead, this is a peer-influenced market where you trade event contracts on real-world outcomes. The prices of all contracts within any given market will always add up to close to 1.

A current example as of writing this is the Los Angeles Mayoral Election:

• Karen Bass is sitting at 0.56, giving her a 56% chance
• Nithya Raman is sitting at 0.42, giving her a 42% chance

Each contract is framed as a yes or no question, priced between 0.01 and 0.99, reflecting what the market collectively thinks the chances of that outcome settling are. In the case of the Los Angeles Mayoral Election it's tight, essentially a coin flip according to traders. Other markets can sit much higher when the market has a stronger opinion around a likely outcome. Once the event settles, the correct outcome pays out at 1.00 per contract.
