Vave brand basics
For those unfamiliar, we figured we’d start off today’s Vave review with some basic background info about the brand.
After all, if you’re considering using Vave as your next crypto casino or online sportsbook, it’s important to know exactly who and what you’re dealing with beforehand.
Launched in 2022, Vave is a rapidly growing gaming site that promotes itself as an “international platform” for online betting and casino gaming using cryptocurrencies. It sources its games from reputable and widely recognized software brands like BGaming, Betsoft and Novomatic - meaning that Random Number Generators (RNGs) are used across the board. While the site itself is estimated to have more than 300,000 active users at the time of writing. All things considered, though, we’d still suggest exercising the usual level of caution before playing here yourself.
Nevertheless, we spotted several green flags when writing today’s Vave review. Most notably, you can rest assured that Vave is reputable because the site…
- Has been in business for a long time - having first been launched in 2022.
- Offers transparent, publicly available T&Cs, Privacy Policy and “Promotion Terms” pages.
- Features SSL encryption and a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) option.
- Has a recognized gambling license - held by the site’s owner, TechOptions Group B.V. Although this may not necessarily cover your region.
But naturally, before using the site yourself, it’s as important as ever to do your homework - particularly with regards to what local laws have to say about crypto sports betting and casino gaming in your country or region. Being well-informed can help you avoid potential issues and ensure that your experience on the platform is safe, responsible, and fully compliant.
What to expect from Vave’s casino and sports betting options
Unlike many of its contemporaries, Vave isn’t solely a crypto casino. It doubles up as an online sportsbook, too.
Register with Vave from a permitted location, and you’ll typically gain immediate access to the full range of services, including Sports Betting, Casino, Live Casino, and more, without needing to create separate accounts for each section.
Here’s our overview of what you can expect from the site’s main offerings:
Sports betting
In most eligible regions, you’ll be able to bet on more than 30 mainstream and niche sports at Vave - a selection we’d say is broadly in line with the industry standard. The sports offered range from football, basketball, tennis and ice hockey to darts, handball, olympics and a small run of esports, including Volta eSoccer and Counter Strike 2 (CS2).
Odds are broadly consistent with what we saw when writing our recent BlockBet review, which found that competitors offer access to a similar number and range of sports markets and leagues, too. However, we were a bit disappointed to see that Vave may sometimes take up to 30 calendar days to credit account holders with their sports betting winnings.
Right now, we think the site’s most notable sports betting features are as follows - but we’ll let you be the judge of that:
- Competitive coverage of smaller sports like Bandy, waterpolo, and lacrosse.
- Beginner friendly betting slip customization options.
- Crystal clear “General Sportsbook” T&Cs and bonus rules.
Live betting
As expected in today’s online betting arena, our Vave review found that the site offers live and in play betting options to customers in eligible regions, too.
There’s a dedicated “Live Betting” hub that auto-updates with real time odds as you’re using it. Most events also offer live streams. However, at the time of writing, we did not see any promotions specifically tied to live betting.
Casino
Vave’s main casino dashboard is dotted with all sorts of popular game genres. In most parts of the world, the well rounded selection covers slots, blackjack, baccarat, game shows and more - with multiple cryptocurrencies supported as play options, and most of the titles listed sourced from solid software names we’ve all heard of a hundred times before, like Betsoft, BGaming, NetGaming, and Belatra.
The site is reported to have more than 8,000 games in its portfolio, which means you’ll find quite a few niche arcade genres like, keno, crash and plinko mixed in with your regular reels and table games. But the filter options on the homepage aren’t exactly plentiful. So, you’ll need to use the site’s search engine if you want to find them.
Standout casino features here, as far as our Vave review is concerned, are:
- Cutting-edge software providers: features games from Iconic21, Evoplay, and many other well-known developers.
- Unique arcade games: Vave Originals powers a small run of crash, mines and dice games themselves.
- Diverse table game limits: Minimum bets start from around $0.10 USD, with maximums reaching five figures on select games.
Live casino
It is also seen that the site offers its fair share of live dealer experiences, too - most of which are powered by Iconic21, Absolute Live Gaming, and Winfinity.
With around 100 games available, the live dealer list here isn’t exactly exhaustive. But there is a solid mix of niche tables like Cricket Premier Blackjack and Cabaret Roulette to choose from, as well as more standardized blackjack and poker options, too.
To summarize, then, Vave’s services are certainly up to industry standard. Generally speaking, many of the site’s sports and casino features are comparable to those unveiled in our recent competitor review of Thrill. For example, Vave offers a real-time casino leaderboard, and its sportsbook provides user-friendly betting slips. Ultimately, the choice of which site suits you best is yours to make.
Potential options here in terms of bonus offers
Vave’s bonuses often vary from region to region. But don’t worry, because we’ve set up some geo-targeted banners on this page to clarify exactly what’s currently up for grabs bonus wise for you, wherever you’re reading this from.
As an example of the sort of thing to expect, in our area, Vave was advertising a 150% up to 1.5 BTC welcome bonus for casino bettors with free spins. And while the offer available in yours may vary, we thought this was a robust bonus that was relatively easy to claim and use - as explored in our recent Vave bonus review.
The offer we got required a minimum deposit of 20 USDT on signup to activate it. Although other cryptocurrencies were supported, too. Our matched deposit bonus needed to be wagered within a pretty fair 30 days of receipt, while free spins were credited at a rate of 25 free spins daily over the course of a four-day promotional period.
Sportsbook users were able to claim a separate offer entirely in our region, which might also be the case in yours. While writing today’s Vave review, we were able to claim a sports bonus worth 100% up to 1 BTC; once again after a 20 USDT minimum deposit had been made. This offer had the same 30 day usage period as Vave’s casino bonus. Although our matched deposit bonus bets needed to be used as single or multi bets, on events with odds of 1.7 or greater, rather than be played on qualifying casino games.
The two offers mentioned above are to be treated purely as examples. For the reasons already stated, it’s important that you guys always check our site banners - and the brand’s own bonus rules for your region - for up to date details of the exact offers available to you.
VIP bonuses and rewards advertised
One area where Vave differs from other crypto casinos and sportsbooks we’ve curated in our lists and reviews is VIP rewards. While other sites often offer a single loyalty club, usually aimed at casino players only, Vave runs two separate VIP programs across many of its regions - one for sports fans, and another for gamers.
Where available, we’re convinced both are capable, well rounded and competitive programs. We found that both programs are entered into automatically when you sign up and make your first deposit from a qualifying region using our banner links here. Here’s how each program works:
Vave’s “Casino VIP program”
Vave’s Casino VIP program features 18 tiers, which you progress through by collecting loyalty points from playing slots, roulette, baccarat, and other casino games.
Each tier unlocks Exclusive VIP offers, starting from 10 free spins and a 5 USDT bonus at Level 2, with higher tiers offering increasingly substantial rewards. At the top level, bonuses can reach very high amounts, potentially up to six figures in USDT, depending on your region.
Other perks available under the program are broadly in-line with the benefits we saw advertised when writing our recent 500 Casino review. You can unlock priority customer support access, for example, as well as your own dedicated VIP manager. Although of course, availability of the program, and its rules, can vary from one region to the next.
Vave’s “Sports VIP program”
In contrast, Vave’s Sports VIP program has just seven levels and is much more straightforward. Where offered, the club requires you to collect “Compoints” (often abbreviated to “VP”) to level up, which can only be won by betting 10 USDT or more on matches, games and events that advertise odds of 1.3 or greater. Level up prizes are usually awarded as yet more Compoints. But other on site perks and bonuses may be available in selected regions.
Meanwhile, other notable bonus examples you might see advertised on the site outside of its VIP programs may include:
- Second, third and fourth deposit bonuses: offering new players deposit matches ranging from 0.5 to 1 BTC
- Thursdays reloads: sometimes offering 100% up to a maximum amount depending on the region.
- Wheel of Fortune bonuses: which, naturally, are decided completely at random
- Friend referral program: usually operates on a percentage-based system rather than a fixed per-referral bonus.
Again, see our banners on this page for exact details of the offers available where you live - as those we’ve listed above are simply examples.
Finding your way around the site
Although some elements of Vave’s VIP programs and bonuses may be a bit confusing, the site itself is exceptionally clear and easy to navigate. All Vave’s web pages have a logical top toolbar with one click tabs for its separate “Sports Betting”, “Casino” and “Live Casino” pages. Which, in turn, display their odds and games, respectively, according to sensible categories, and offer an intuitive search engine.
Meanwhile, FAQs, customer support, and the transparent T&Cs pages we mentioned earlier can all be found in the main menu in the left hand navigation pane.
We think you’re unlikely to run into too much trouble finding your way around, then - log in to Vave, and everything you need is right there in front of you, clearly signposted, and spelled out in white and gray text that’s easy on the eyes.
There’s nothing particularly special about the site in terms of its features - it’s an industry standard design that’s easy to use. Although we did like the fact that some, but not all, casino games have their Return to Player (RTP) percentages and current player counts automatically listed in their thumbnails before you click to play them.
Did our Vave review uncover any apps?
Vave’s website offers direct download links to what the brand describes as being iOS and Android apps. But when we performed App Store and Google Play searches of our own, we struggled to pin down either.
It turned out this was because Vave’s mobile apps aren’t your conventional, listed applications - instead, they’re downloadable APK files which can be installed manually by those of you who know what you’re doing, tech wise. We found this a bit disappointing at a time when many competitors have listed apps available on both stores.
Nevertheless, if you’d like to play at Vave’s games or bet on their sports from your smartphone or tablet, that’s still possible. After all, our Vave review found that Vave’s site has been built with full mobile friendliness in mind. And it ran smoothly enough when we tested it out on Safari, Chrome and Brave using a few different Apple, Google and Samsung devices.
Your payment options at Vave
When you go to make your initial deposit at Vave, you’ll find there are multiple cryptocurrencies supported by the site. At the time of writing, these included Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Tron (TRX) and (Ripple) XRP, which is pretty diverse indeed. Although we have seen broader selections offered by other crypto casinos elsewhere.
Unsurprisingly, withdrawals are also crypto driven on the site. Usually, you’ll need to withdraw directly to your crypto wallet using the same crypto you last deposited with. Meanwhile our Vave review found that cash outs are typically processed within up to 72 hours. It is worth noting that some withdrawal requests - particularly higher value ones - may take longer.
Meanwhile, while the site claims it generally prioritizes player anonymity and privacy - and strives not to collect any personal information - its FAQs state that Know Your Customer (KYC) and ID checks might sometimes be requested of players under certain circumstances.
Vave’s customer support offerings - what to expect
Your customer support options are fairly plentiful at Vave - and typically accessed via the “Contact Us” icon in the site’s footer. Unless you’re looking for the brand’s FAQs, that is, which are hosted via a separate “Help Center” hub, that we found to be relatively easy to use.
Questions are categorized into clear, sensible sections, such as “Withdrawals”, “Casino Games” and “Bonuses and Promotions”. While there’s also a search bar you can use if there’s something more specific you’re looking for.
Our Vave review found that, if you want to speak to the team directly, you can reach out via the following three channels:
| Customer support option | How it works | Typical waiting time (during our tests) |
| Live chat | Click the on-page live chat icon to initiate a conversation at any time. | 10-20 minutes. |
| Online contact form | Tap “Contact Us”, then input your query into the online form displayed. Be sure to include your email address and check the consent box before you click “Submit”. | Up to 48 hours. |
| Email support | Pick between either the “Support” or “Complaints” email address from the “Contact Us” page. Then simply ping over your enquiry from your preferred mail app. | Up to 48 hours. |
As we’ve seen with a lot of other crypto casinos, Vave has a fairly robust social media presence. Which means you can also reach out to the team via DM on X or Instagram.
There’s also a Discord community with more than 39,000 members where you can discuss the site and its offerings with other users. Although of course, this is social media, so you won’t necessarily be talking with verified Vave players and bettors in the Discord chat.
Our Vave review conclusion - a very capable crypto casino and sportsbook
With more than 8,000 casino games advertised, 30+ sports markets represented and separate sign up bonuses and VIP programs available for each market in many of its regions, Vave promises a lot. But does it deliver?
Well, taking into careful consideration all that we’ve explored today, we think this is a robust crypto casino that’s definitely up to industry standard as far as its game selection and software go. While we’re confident that Vave’s sportsbook offers odds and coverage broadly in line with what you’ll find with competitors, too.
Any of you curious to try out Vave for yourself can currently register - and claim whatever casino or sports bonus is advertised in our banners - using our official links here.
Vave review FAQs
What kinds of casino games can you play at Vave?
Currently, the site offers a diverse and sizable selection of slots, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and arcade style games. Most titles have been sourced from prominent developers like BGaming and Iconic21. While player favorites at the time of writing include titles such as Elivs Frog Trueways, Luck of Panda Bonus Combo and Chicken Plinko.
Does Vave offer sports betting odds boosts?
We didn’t see any advertised in our region at the time of writing. But you will likely find other sports centric promotions on the site. Players in many parts of the world can access a seven tier VIP program, as well as a welcome bonus that’s potentially worth 100% up to 1 BTC, for example. Consult our page banners for region specific information.
How does Vave’s welcome bonus work?
Vave’s welcome bonuses vary from region to region, but we found that most users will be prompted to pick between either a sports or casino centric welcome pack on sign up, from which point you’ll need to make a qualifying deposit to unlock your goodies.
