Announced today are partnerships between ETHDenver, Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology, C-Lab and the Colorado Department of Higher Education, and Learning Economy. This partnership comes in order to establish a series of Educational initiatives to help collaborate and solidify Colorado as the international hub of blockchain technology and Web3 innovation. Programming will be launched on 10th of February for free education in a week of exciting events across the state which have been designed to further Colorado in growing its community on blockchain.

ETHDenver will go on to host an official “Advance Colorado’’ track at the software development competition running from Valentine’s Day to the 16th February. Following the launch, C-Lab will be designing numerous workshops and research developments talks at the event. ETHDenver is also getting ready to host a live stream following the launch which will have some political figures included including, Governor Jared Polis. 

Director of Digital Transformation at the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology, Russell Castagnaro, has said:

“Last year, Governor Polis said that Colorado is in Blockchain For The Win. We are partnering with ETHDenver to show the rest of the world what that means,” “We are excited about the Colorado Government track at the ETHDenver Hackathon, the upcoming Bount-a-thon, and Colorado Digital ID™ via myColoradoTM and look forward to identifying more innovative solutions that solve real-world problems here in Colorado.”

The founder of ETHDenver, John Paller has said:

“This effort is largely one of bridge-building between the existing and the emerging while cultivating the ground that is ETHDenver to further showcase Colorado as the ideal hub for blockchain and distributed ledger technology development.”
