Reasons for DeadFellaz large fanbase boils down to investment purposes, partnerships, volume, celebrity ownership, an extensive roadmap, etc.,

If you are big into Web3, you would have undoubtedly passed an animated green zombie with different styles of mouths, eyes, heads, and body grades at least once.

Despite being zombies, the avatars look somewhat cute. And following the considerable popularity of these non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles, including people switching their profile pictures to one, they must stand for something.

Those questionable zombies are called DeadFellaz and are worth a pretty penny, too.

But what’s all the hype about?

Quick Brief About DeadFellaz

First and foremost, it’s vital to understand that DeadFellaz is a collection of 10,000 NFTs.

These zombie collectibles are minted on the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-721), launching for the first time in August 2021 by DeadFellaz co-founder Betty and co-director Psych.

However, the project’s artist is Maddy Kenyon, whom is also the character artist for Odyssey Studio.

Among the zombies’ bright green faces and unique characteristics, much of the collectibles’ popularity stems from the project’s activity and ambitious roadmap, which often includes the much-loved American DJ Steve Aoki. Together, they work on yearly Halloween projects and more.

This Halloween DeadFellaz also recently joined forces with DraftKing, to feature in its spooky-looking NFT cards, alongside Warner Bro’s ever-so-famous Digital Pop! collection and more.

The Perks of DeadFellaz Token (DEADFELLAZ20)

The most significant aspect of the project is its token, which is ideal for trading purposes. The ERC-20 token, DEADFELLAZ20, provides liquidity on decentralized exchanges and other automated market makers. It is made from the NFT20 Pool and can trade in places like SushiSwap and Uniswap.

Basically, thanks to its token, DeadFellaz is excellent for investment purposes. Each token is unique and derives value from specific attributes.

Not forgetting, NFT20 also allows fractional ownership of NFTs. The floor price for the whole NFT may be too high. So, instead, you can purchase a fraction of the NFT for a fraction of the cost. Then, you can be a part of the liquidity pool.

Currently, collectors of DeadFellaz can deposit their NFT into the NFT20 pool in exchange for 95 DEADFELLAZ20 tokens.

Betty and Psych randomly generate more than 300 DeadFellaz attributes and traits, including the zombies’ mouths, eyes, heads, bodies, and grades. Like all non-fungibles, the rarer they are, the more expensive they become due to being more desirable.

So, check out these rarity tools if you have your eye on a DeadFellaz NFT and want to know what it’s worth. You can swap the NFT in exchange for Ethereum.

What’s Next? Other Exclusive Perks

DeadFellaz soon become one of the top NFT projects in 2021, following the perks mentioned above. As a result, it received popularity this year. Other reasons for its extensive fanbase include partnerships, volume, celebrity ownership (including the famous actress Elijah Wood), and more.

Better still, the project has a lot to look forward to, with its roadmap including:

  • Limited-edition merchandise releases for DeadFellaz holders (hoodies, mugs, tees, etc.).
  • Collaboration with a sticker company that produces top-notch vinyl stickers.
  • DeadZone13 – DeadFellaz tech-savvy metaverse that features games, puzzles and wearables.
  • Upcoming partnerships, including with The Sandbox and Youtooz Collectibles (vinyl stickers).
  • New music incentives dubbeed DEFI DEATH.
  • 3D models of DeadFellaz as rewards for owners.
  • And more.

Not forgetting, DeadFellaz also has other buddies named DeadFrenz, which are playable on the project’s metaverse and opens the doors to DeadFellaz’ members-only Discord channel.
