The team behind the adorable stork-themed altcoin Kounotori has been busy these last few weeks with an impressive marketing campaign aimed at nudging their $KTO into the mainstream. In Japanese culture, the Kounotori or oriental stork is a harbinger of good fortune, and the team is hoping their stork token catches a little of the same luck.

“We wanted to create a token that was fair and transparent, which is why our entire is doxed and our white paper and road map are on full display on our website. We’re already in phase three and touch wood, everything has gone to plan so far.” Gerion, Kounotori Project Leader.

 A solid nest egg

Kounotori is an Ethereum, ERC:20 based token, but includes some nifty anti-skulduggery measures to prevent any market shenanigans. These simple features include capped transactions and wallets to protect the stork against any killer whales. More details about the token, the Lite Paper, and a detailed road map can be found on their website.

A stork future ahead

Speaking of the road map, the team is well into phase three and all is proceeding according to plan, which is nice to see in a crypto-project. Perhaps most intriguingly phase three also promises an NFT collection and if the art for said tokens is anything like that on their striking website, this could really be one to watch. As a new coin, Uniswap, and similar utilities, are the only way in for now, but the developers have also included listing $KTO on the lower tier exchanges as part of phase three plans.  There’s still time, however, for anyone looking to get in on the ground floor.

A bird in the hand

Getting your hands on Kounotori isn’t complicated though. You just need a MetaMask, Coinbase or Trust Wallet. From there, grab some ETH and head to Uniswap in the in-app browser and connect your wallet. Next, just click Add-Token before copying and pasting the $KTO contract address from the website and then click import. You’ll need to adjust slippage. Setting it to somewhere around 12% should do fine as long as the market is stable.  Then, all you need to do is buy $KTO, but remember to leave some ETH behind to cover the gas fees. If the team’s plans continue apace, it will be much easier to buy $KTO in the future, but what is it they always say about early birds and worms? Besides, Kounotori is one bird you won’t want to miss out on.

Join the flock
