Circularity by Gordon Berger

‘Circularity’- is a collection of 12 artworks that burn and re-mint themselves. Challenging the standards of: Ownership, Burning and Minting mechanics. Each NFT only exists for the duration of the month it is linked to and gets burned on the last day of that month. However, every NFT re-appears (re-mints itself) on the 1st day of the same month, next year. Once an artwork is burned the next month NFT gets re-minted, so there is always a market supply of only 1 unique NFT. As an abstract artist and CryptoArt pioneer: Gordon Berger’s work explores the possibility of using smart contracts, time and AI as a medium. Smart contracts created in collaboration with Will Papper.
