Delft Blue Garden

Digital artworks inspired by the Delft Blue pottery that has been produced in the Netherlands since the 17th Century. These artworks are my interpretation of taking culture into the metaverse. I use pixels as a bridge between history and future, between tradition and innovation. Because culture is always dynamic, and interpretations context dependent. On a more personal level, the Delft Blue collections bridge my present day art with nostalgia. Delft Blue brings me back to my late Grandmother's house, and the pixelated style refers to the beautiful wall hangings she used to make.
