During his 16 years as Senior Artist at Rockstar Games Stephen Bliss established the illustrative style that defined the look and feel of Grand Theft Auto. Fear City is a decade's collection of Bliss' personal obsessions: a city of messed up characters and unnerving comedic narratives, all centered in a dark, dystopian America. Finally his vision is coming to life in the form of Fear City Comics’ Volume One: Thumper. Thumper tells the story of a reclusive teen who is possessed by a vengeful entity. He gains great powers and transforms into the masked vigilante Thumper. When his retribution against the criminals of Fear City culminates in indiscriminate destruction, and undermines his Father's clandestine criminal organization, only his beloved father can end his son's reign of terror.
