Brazil’s Nubank Wins OCC Conditional Approval for U.S. National Bank – Crypto Custody Soon?

Nubank has received conditional approval from the OCC to organize a U.S. national bank, with 12 months to fully capitalize and 18 months to launch. If finalized, Nubank, N.A. could offer deposits, cards, lending and digital-asset custody to U.S. customers under one federal charter, directly via app.
