Plasma.Finance Partnership with Ren Protocol v3

Plasma.Finance continues to build on its all-in-one DeFi solution and our latest platform update now enables users to access DeFi bridging support for a wider range of tokens thanks to our partnership with Ren Protocol v3.0!

Now, in just one step, you can wrap even more stablecoins and other tokens to swap across multiple blockchain networks at far lower gas fees than if hopping manually from network to network. This new partnership also lets you bridge renASSETS from one chain to another in one simple step.

Significantly our latest update allows you to bridge a range of native assets such BTC, BNB and Matic to Ethereum blockchain and other chains Ren supports. Eventually, this will include a wider range of stablecoins, native tokens, vault, and LP tokens.

This is the full range of tokens and assets now supported:

Non-EVM Native Blockchain Assets:

$BTC, $BCH, $DGB, $DOGE, $FIL, $ZEC

EVM Native Blockchain Assets

Direct Bridge for 15 renASSETs for faster and cheaper cross-chain transfers

In addition, you can use a new transaction called renBridge for direct bridging for 5 new Layer 1 assets AVAX, BNB, ETH, FTM, and MATIC, as well as 10 newly-added ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins: BADGER, BUSD, CRV, DAI, EURT, FTT, KNC, LINK, MIM, REN, ROOK, SUSHI, UNI, USDC, and USDT.

This means that renASSETs such as renETH can now also be bridged directly from chain to chain — skipping the renASSET burn to the origin chain. For example, in the past, you would need to burn renETH to the Ethereum chain before minting it to the destination chain. But now, you simply transfer the renETH and the Bridge automatically burns renETH on your origin chain (Ethereum), and mints it directly on your destination chain.

As a result, you save costs from interacting with the Bitcoin chain, and get your transfer much faster!

For now, only newly added tokens and Layer 1 assets on RenBridge are available but there are rollout plans coming soon for other assets like renBCH, renDGB, renDOGE, renFIL, renZEC, and finally, renBTC.
