I had $823,000 stolen (including ETH) from me over a Reddit chat.

I live in Australia. Came to Reddit for some help with my crypto wallet.

An elaborate scam, as well as being incredibly tired, led me to have my crypto wallet drained of all it's funds, $823,000 (a lot was Ethereum) – screenshot shows 1/14 transactions.

I take personal responsibility for it.

I've cried many nights. This all happened one week before my wedding.

Interpol took a look. The funds went to a Russian crime syndicate.

They're doing billions of dollars of theft per day through their account.

My money is gone.

I just hope no one else gets scammed.

The Reddit user has been on here for 8 years. They're still active.

They scam lots of people every day.
