Alameda, FTX Ordered To Pay $12.7 Billion To Creditors

The Sam Bankman-Fried founded FTX and its sister company Alameda Research have been ordered by a New York judge to pay $12.7 billion to creditors, according to an August 7 consent order. The settlement effectively ends a nearly two years long lawsuit against the crypto companies brought forth by the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
