Judging from the provided 25-week-delta call-minus-put skew, XRP’s stance in the Options markets is getting stronger with 9.3 volatility points.

The reading sits at the 95th percentile, hinting at calls majorly exceeding XRP puts, leaning towards upside convexity. The question by Coinbase’s researchers is whether this means “Sensible positioning, or crowded demand”, while XRP’s Options market movement continues to mimic Derivatives markets.

Coinbase Markets have pointed to XRP’s demand consistency as something to watch out for, while XRP’s bulls continue to defend the $1.50 region. For the bigger part of 2026, XRP’s Options setup was directed towards puts, putting the volatility points below -0.10 on many occasions, but the sentiment flipped.

The bull cycle sent the volatility point rate skyward, reaching above 15 during the August run towards $1.70. Now, XRP’s price direction heavily relies on the ability to make or break the $1.55 confluent resistance level.
