What lessons has cryptocurrency investing taught you this year?

I thought it would be nice to share some lessons we've learned this year, in case any of the new users from the holiday break are out there lurking.

My advice is to plan when you are in a clear state of mind and follow that plan when you are not.

Every time my tokens dipped I would move some currency around and FOMO in at The Bottom. But after the third The Bottom I realized it's only the bottom if it stops going down. So now I say that I am DCAing into the dip and I sound like a seasoned investor who is never wrong. Ha.

Really though, FOMO is a damn curse. I really did FOMO in at the bottom. Every time. I broke away from the plan to DCA I made when I was thinking rationally. I moved the same money into the same currency, just in one or two installments over a weekend instead of a couple over a few weeks.

Every single time I did this I ended up in a worse position.

I am still struggling but experience is helping. I started writing down my entry and exit strategies for every purchase and it is helping some, too.
