How do I know to trust L2 networks?

Let's say I want to bridge some of my tokens over to the optimism network via https://app.optimism.io/bridge/deposit. How can I be certain that I can trust that the site in question is really bridging my tokens over to the optimism network and that this isn't some malicious dapp that's out to steal my tokens?
