Automorph by Lichterloh

Automorph - created by lichterloh - is a series of generative videos which explores (self) awareness, change and manipulation. Where do we begin, where do we end? Which influences shape who we are, how do we manipulate ourselves, our emotions? A simple algorithm based on random numbers generates the natural structures in real-time, while various parameters influence how the structures evolve. Each generated frame affects the next one, which results in parameters influencing themselves as well as creating new ones. Each subset of this series consists of 5 unique artworks with distinct, raw material qualities. Sound: Ateq
