Rap Off - The Fridge

Rap Off was created in 2017 by battle rap world champion, Illmac, and legendary animator Andres Salaff (Adventure Time, Big Mouth) premiering its first cartoon: Ketchup vs Mustard rap battle, which earned 30+ million views and cemented Rap Off’s place in history as an originator in the viral rap cartoon world. Thereafter, Rap Off dropped repeated viral hits, including Dog vs Cat rap battle and Mustard freestyle (feat. Method Man & NEMS), which earned viewership in the millions and support from hiphop legends Busta Rhymes and Xzibit. After navigating a development deal with a major studio, Rap Off ultimately decided to produce the animated series on its own terms, outside the grasp of centralized studios, in order to better protect the authenticity and legacy of the IP - and to engage the fans in ownership of the beloved characters in the metaverse.
