She Is Alive

What is the rock bottom? Complete loss of happiness and hope? No longer feeling “alive?” This is my story about coming out of darkness, self-hate and punishment towards light and unconditional self-acceptance. Like a Phoenix that arose from the fire of pain and heaviness. I was one out of millions of people with an eating disorder — an excruciating 15-year journey of anorexia and bulimia. Thinking back now, I truly wonder how I am still alive. I was suicidal, miserable, lonely and extremely hopeless… There is so much shame behind this topic that it’s still a largely invisible problem in our world. I never gave up looking for a solution, though, and so throughout these 15 years, I became an expert. I studied psychology, nutrition, physiology and spiritual practices. I can confidently say now: there is a way out! There is light and hope. ‘She Is Alive’ more than ever before! And she is telling her nonverbal story of transformation.
