Hastra PRIME (PRIME) is a yield-bearing receipt token, and what is Hastra PRIME in practice is a token that passes yield from Figure's home equity lending pools to its holders. Users swap USDC for wYLDS and stake it to receive PRIME at a 1:1 ratio. PRIME trades at $1.07, with a market capitalization of $555.51M (rank #136) and 24h trading volume of $5.50M.
Core technology and blockchain architecture
The flow runs USDC to wYLDS to PRIME. wYLDS is backed 1:1 by YLDS, and PRIME is minted when users stake wYLDS through Hastra's dashboard. Hastra's documentation states that users can unstake at any time.
YLDS launched on 20 February 2025. Figure Markets describes it as "the first SEC-registered, yield-bearing stablecoin." It is minted through Figure Certificate Company and runs natively on the Provenance Blockchain. Its reserves are securities held by prime money market funds.
PRIME exists as an Ethereum ERC-20 token and as an Solana SPL token. It is also listed in Tempo's real-world asset registry. Hastra's audit scope covers both the Solidity implementation on Ethereum and the Anchor/Rust implementation on Solana, and describes the system as a USDC to wYLDS yield vault to PRIME staking vault.
Use cases and real-world applications
PRIME is used mainly as collateral and yield-bearing assets inside DeFi lending markets:
- Solana lending: Kamino lists PRIME as a lending market and describes it as "low-volatility, high-capacity, liquid composable yield." Loopscale also integrated PRIME early.
- Ethereum vaults: Sentora launched a PRIME vault on Morpho. Bitwise's PAPY vault on Morpho accepts PRIME as one of three borrower collateral markets, reported on 3 September 2026.
- Structured credit: Strata splits PRIME into senior (srPRIME) and junior (jrPRIME) tranches. Its documentation describes PRIME as "a tokenized deposit into Democratized Prime."
- Payments network: Tempo added PRIME and wYLDS to Tempo Earn on 16 October 2026, for real-world yield products.
Who is behind Hastra PRIME and where is it based?
Founders and key people
No founders or Hastra-specific CEO are named in the sources reviewed. The publicly named leaders belong to the parent companies. Mike Cagney is co-founder and executive chairman of Figure Technology Solutions, and Michael Tannenbaum is Figure's CEO. One third-party assessment describes the issuing team as anonymous, which conflicts with the named Figure and Provenance leadership.
Founding year and project history
Hastra was incubated by Figure and the Provenance Blockchain Foundation, and Gate and Cryptoeconomics both list it as founded in 2025. The Provenance Foundation announced on X that "Hastra is live!" on 21 November 2025. In April 2026, Figure and Hastra added auto loans to the platform, with Hastra extending beyond Solana.
Country and legal entity
Hastra's Terms of Use name Signum Ltd. as the company that provides the DeFi application. The Terms describe Signum as "a company organized under the laws of the British Virgin Islands" and "a wholly owned subsidiary of Provenance Cayman Foundation." Figure's SEC filings refer to "Signum Ltd. (dba Hastra)" and record a December 2025 software license. Cryptoeconomics lists the protocol's jurisdiction as the United States, and Figure's December 2025 release is datelined San Francisco. No source states Hastra's headquarters address. The registry names "Hastra Technologies Inc." (DefiLlama, Crunchbase) and "SIGNUM LIMITED" (a Cayman LEI record) have not been reconciled with Signum Ltd.
Tokenomics
Total supply and circulating supply are both 520,681,792 PRIME. The all-time high is $1.50, and the current price is 28.87% below it. Phantom reports 1,638 holders of the Solana token, with the top 10 holders controlling 98.09% of supply.
PRIME is minted when wYLDS is staked and redeemed when it is unstaked. The sources reviewed do not describe a fixed cap or a token emission schedule. Hastra states that it is not launching a separate protocol token and that its success flows "directly back to the HASH holders who power and secure the Provenance Blockchain."
Consensus mechanism and network security model
PRIME has no consensus mechanism of its own. The underlying YLDS settles on the Provenance Blockchain, while the PRIME contracts run on Ethereum, Solana and Tempo. Security therefore depends on those networks and on the contracts themselves.
Informal Systems audited the Solana vault-mint and vault-stake programs between 24 September and 18 November 2025, and its initial phase found nine issues, including one critical. Sherlock ran collaborative reviews in March and April 2026, and its collateral assessment reports no critical or high findings. Hastra's Proof of Reserves page also lists an OtterSec review dated 6 August 2026. Admin controls use 4-of-7 multisigs on both chains: Safe v1.4.1 on Ethereum and Squads v4 on Solana. Hastra's yield products are secured by the Chainlink data standard. TID Research rates PRIME "Moderate-elevated risk" at 5.0 out of 10.
Partnerships and ecosystem integrations
- Figure: Source of the home equity loans and the Democratized Prime pools.
- Provenance Blockchain Foundation: Co-incubator.
- Chainlink: Data standard for Hastra yield products.
- Kamino, Loopscale, Morpho, Sentora, Strata, Bitwise, Tempo: Lending, vault and tranching integrations listed above.
- Privy: Joined the Figure consortium launched on 4 December 2025 to bring PRIME to Solana.
Competitive advantages and value proposition
PRIME's main differentiator is its underlying asset, which Figure describes as the first SEC-registered yield-bearing stablecoin. PRIME can be used as DeFi collateral while still earning yield, and it is available on three networks. Hastra also distributes yield without a standalone governance token, a model that sets it apart from most yield protocols.
Development activity and roadmap
Hastra expanded to Ethereum in 2026, and Tempo support followed in October 2026. Kamino's Vaults V2 was in audit with a targeted launch in Q3 2026. Hastra also offers an auto loan product through Agora and products for small and medium businesses. No formal public roadmap was found in the sources reviewed.
