  • The founder believes that Wyoming University is a significantly more attractive choice than Harvard for Input Output’s (IOHK’s) lab.

The founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson has recently explained that the University of Wyoming has a better return on investment for IOHK than Harvard University, MIT, or Cornell University.

The founder of one of the most well-known cryptocurrencies in the industry believes that Wyoming University is a significantly more attractive choice than Harvard for Input Output’s (IOHK’s) lab. Whereas you may believe that the truth would be the other way round as Harvard university is one of the biggest and most prestigious its kind in all the world.

The company behind the development of Cardano, IOHK has donated $500,000 in the ADA cryptocurrency to the blockchain lock at Wyoming University earlier in 2020. Now many of you may know this already, but Wyoming is one of the few states in America that has progressive crypto legislation.

Hoskinson as it said that the University was the first state institution in the whole of the country to treat the cryptocurrency as it were the United States dollar. He added that they are working with the University and as a result, it provides a better return on investment with the whole donation being spent on blockchain-related initiatives. He further added:

“It's very easy for people to go to Cornell or MIT or Harvard. And they have giant egos. And when you do business with them, they price those egos and talents accordingly. So, sometimes for every dollar you put in, you get like, 60 percent that goes to other stuff, like journalism or gender studies or whatever.”

So with all of this in mind, would you rather go to Harvard University or Wyoming University? Whereas one is known for being a prestigious and elite Campus, the other is furthering blockchain.
