The art industry and its supporting structure is built on foundations that far exceed tastes and interests. For every success, there are hundreds, if not thousands of failures. And what separates those that succeed from those less fortunate, more often than not, pertains to factors that are removed from the art itself. My Genesis Collection aims to provide truth to the adage that art is more than the sum of its parts. That it’s not enough to have something that looks great, but must also have a creator that is brilliant. Brilliant at things that are totally unrelated to the art they choose to shill and share. Networking, marketing, communication and branding. All are key tenets that infuse together to make up a complex infrastructure for that individual. For the difference between success and failure, more often than not, is in one’s ability to turn their artwork, into a brand.
