Rare Pizzas is PizzaDAO's collection of 10,000 generative art pizzas, an homage to the first cryptocurrency transaction for real-world goods: Laszlo Hanyecz's purchase of two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin on May 22, 2010. Each Rare Pizza is rendered on demand and topped randomly from a set of 314 possible toppings, each by a unique artist. Their sales fund PizzaDAO to throw a Global Pizza Party every year on Bitcoin Pizza Day, May 22. To date, PizzaDAO has thrown 4 global pizza parties and spent over $1M USD on pizza.
