Their artwork celebrates the UAE’s journey and evolution by exploring the dawn of the nation with the discovery of oil, the real estate boom, and finally the space venture. <h5>The Artist - Mattar Bin Lahej</h5><br /> Mattar is an Emirati artist from Dubai and the founder of Marsam Mattar, the first art gallery in the United Arab Emirates to be managed by an artist. A self-taught artist, Mattar Bin Lahej is a painter, sculptor, and photographer. He has nurtured his artistic talents and enhanced the quality of his work through continuous training, fieldwork, and experimentation. His recent work on one of the most iconic buildings in the UAE, the Museum of the Future, includes 14,000 metres of beautiful Arabic calligraphy.
