Gemini Bags Malta MiFID License, Eyes EU-Wide Crypto Perps Rollout

Gemini has obtained a MiFID II license from Malta’s regulator, giving it EU-wide access to offer perpetual futures and other crypto derivatives. The exchange has also said it has been pursuing a MiCA license to widen services while competitors Coinbase and Kraken expand through major acquisitions.
