Expanding regulated asset tokenization on Hedera

Hedera has integrated the ERC-3643 token standard, Tokeny’s T-REX framework, into Asset Tokenization Studio, strengthening support for globally compliant, regulated asset issuance. The standard introduces on-chain identity at the contract level, enabling issuers to define jurisdiction-specific compliance parameters and adapt tokens to diverse market requirements.

With expanded modularity and interoperability, ERC-3643 complements Hedera’s existing ERC-1400 implementation and broadens Hedera’s tokenization toolkit for cross-border deployment. Asset Tokenization Studio now allows institutions to manage full asset lifecycles on-chain, streamlining issuance, verification, and operations for regulated bonds and equities. This integration advances Hedera’s commitment to standards-based infrastructure as institutional tokenization accelerates.

Introducing the new Hedera Council partnership program

Hedera Council has launched a new partnership program featuring two categories — Strategic Partners and Community Partners — to broaden Council participation across the ecosystem. These categories offer structured pathways for organizations, from enterprises to startups, to engage meaningfully with Hedera without formal Council membership.

Strategic Partners, capped at 45 organizations, gain deeper access to working groups, technical support, marketing collaboration, and participation in Council open sessions. Community Partners, an expanded category of 50+, receive ecosystem support, co-marketing opportunities, and networking access. Overall, this program strengthens ecosystem collaboration while maintaining Hedera’s collusion-resistant governance model.

Bringing Hedera leaders together in London at ‘Trust and Tonics’

Hedera hosted its ‘Trust and Tonics’ networking reception in London, opening the week of the Hedera Council meeting with an evening focused on responsible innovation. Co-hosted with Global Digital Finance, the event brought together leaders across digital assets, public policy, enterprise, and emerging technologies.

Hedera Council President Tom Sylvester opened the reception with remarks on the network’s commitment to advancing credible, institution-ready solutions, joined by GDF’s Previn Singh. The event set the stage for a productive Council week and deeper engagement with partners shaping innovation in the UK and beyond.

Hello Future Hackathon: Ascension begins

Ascension, Chapter 2 of the Hello Future Hackathon Trilogy, ran throughout November with developers exploring the convergence of agentic systems and decentralized infrastructure. In the opening workshop, Jake Hall demonstrated emerging standards such as ERC-8004 and x402, highlighting how agent-driven applications can operate with trust on Hedera.

Across AI, DeFi, sustainability, DePIN, and open innovation tracks, builders are competing for more than $140,000 in prizes, alongside bounties for activity, mentorship engagement, and community promotion. This chapter continues Hedera’s effort to equip developers with cutting-edge tools for autonomous, verifiable, and high-performance applications.
