Hyperliquid Price Prediction: Is Galaxy Digital Dumping HYPE Now?

HYPE just pulled off something that often marks a real turning point on a chart, breaking free from a trendline that had been capping it for a while.

At the same time, a large wallet just moved a sizable amount of HYPE straight to exchanges, and that kind of activity usually gets noticed fast in Hyperliquid price prediction circles.

Two very different signals are colliding right now, and untangling them is the key to understanding where HYPE goes next. Here is the complete picture.

Hyperliquid Price Today: Live HYPE Data and 24-Hour Change

HYPE is trading around $86.508 on the 1-hour chart, up 2.9146% over the past 24 hours after adding $2.4464 in value, according to CoinGlass data.

Hyperliquid futures volume over the last day stands at a strong $2.49 billion, while spot volume adds another $184.21 million, showing this Hyperliquid trend analysis is backed by heavy real trading activity rather than idle chatter.

The Hyperliquid market cap currently sits near $21.79 billion, with open interest at $3.45 billion, a sizable figure that shows just how much leveraged capital is actively engaged with HYPE right now.

Circulating supply stands at 251.88 million HYPE out of a total supply of 998.95 million and a max supply of 951.87 million, meaning a large portion of Hyperliquid's eventual token supply is still to enter circulation over time.

Hyperliquid News: Galaxy Digital Sends $8.1M HYPE to Exchanges

The most watched piece of Hyperliquid latest news right now comes from a post by Onchain Lens on X, reporting that Galaxy Digital transferred 95.27K HYPE, worth roughly $8.11 million, to Bybit and OKX over a four-hour window, a move the post flags as likely intended for selling. Hyperliquid news today

The breakdown shows 36.42K $HYPE, close to $3.10 million, sent to Bybit, and 58.85K $HYPE, about $5.01 million, sent to OKX.

Large wallet transfers to exchanges like this are typically watched closely because they often precede actual selling pressure, and it adds a note of caution to what is otherwise a fairly constructive technical picture.

This kind of data point is a real signal worth factoring into any Hyperliquid price prediction, though it does not guarantee the coins will actually be sold rather than moved for other reasons.

HYPE Quick Take: Key Trigger and Support Levels Today

  • CMP: $86.508 (1H chart, Binance)

  • Resistance trigger: break and close above $89.663 needed to keep the breakout structure alive

  • Support trigger: break and close below $81.516 needed to confirm the breakout has failed

  • Data timestamp: Sep 9, 2026

  • Risk note: the recent $8.1 million exchange deposit from Galaxy Digital adds near-term selling risk that could test the breakout structure sooner than the chart alone suggests

Hyperliquid Technical Analysis: HYPE Price Forecast and Trend Outlook

Looking at the 1-hour HYPE chart on Binance, the price had been stuck under a descending trendline for a while, and the first retest of that trendline played out the way sellers would have wanted, with a fairly sharp fall back down. Hyperliquid Price Forecast and Trend Outlook

That kind of rejection usually reinforces a trendline as solid resistance, which made the next test worth watching closely for this Hyperliquid technical analysis.

On the second retest, though, the story changed completely. Instead of getting rejected again, price sustained itself right at the trendline and then pushed through it, delivering an actual breakout rather than another failed attempt.

Going from a clean rejection on the first test to a confirmed breakout on the second is a meaningful shift in behavior, since it suggests buyers gained real conviction the second time around rather than just testing the waters.

The level that matters most now is $89.663.

As long as $HYPE keeps closing above this level, the breakout structure stays intact, and the next resistance for this HYPE price forecast comes in at the psychological 100 level, close to 15.6% above current price.

Beyond that, $115.101 sits as the bigger target further out, roughly 33.0% above CMP.

Getting there would take sustained follow-through buying over multiple sessions, especially given the exchange deposit activity mentioned above.

On the flip side, if $HYPE closes below $81.516, that would effectively undo this breakout and confirm the second retest ultimately failed just like the first one, only after a delay.

A close there represents a close to a 5.8% drop from current levels. In that scenario, the next support for this Hyperliquid price outlook comes in at $78.566, about 9.2% below CMP.

Given the recent exchange inflow news, this downside level deserves real attention rather than being treated as a distant possibility.

HYPE Price Prediction Scenarios: Bull, Base, and Bear Case

In the bull case, the breakout confirmed on the second trendline retest holds, and $HYPE keeps closing above $89.663.

That would open the path toward the 100 level first, with $115.101 as the extended target if buying momentum stays strong enough to absorb any selling tied to the recent Galaxy Digital exchange deposits.

The base case has $HYPE consolidating between $81.516 and $89.663 for a while, digesting both the recent breakout and the exchange inflow news without a decisive move in either direction.

This kind of pause would give the market time to see whether the transferred $HYPE actually gets sold or not, and it is a very plausible near-term outcome.

The bear case plays out if the Galaxy Digital transfer does turn into real selling pressure and overwhelms the recent breakout, pushing $HYPE below $81.516.

That would confirm the trendline breakout has failed, shifting focus down to $78.566 as the next support for this HYPE price outlook.

Risks to This Hyperliquid Price Outlook

A confirmed breakout on a second retest is a constructive technical signal, but it is not immune to real-world selling pressure, and the recent $8.1 million $HYPE transfer to exchanges is exactly the kind of event that can override a clean chart setup.

Broader crypto market direction, Bitcoin's own price behavior, and shifts in overall risk sentiment can all add further pressure in either direction.

With open interest at $3.45 billion, any sharp move here could be amplified quickly through liquidations.
