This Week's Complete Token Unlock Overview and Market Snapshot

The crypto market is heading into another busy week of vesting events. Seven projects will release new tokens between July 27 and August 2, 2026.

This roundup of the Top Token Unlocks for the week covers seven coins: BEAT, SUI, BTW, ENA, EIGEN, ZAMA, and KITE.

Each adds fresh supply to the market. That can pressure prices if demand does not keep pace.

What Are Token Unlocks and Why They Matter

A token unlock is simply when coins that were previously locked up become free to trade. Most projects hold back tokens for early investors, team members, and foundations at launch, releasing them gradually rather than all at once.

That release follows a vesting schedule set from day one, and it exists for a reason: to stop early holders from dumping their bags the moment a token goes live.

There are two ways this usually plays out. Some projects go with a cliff unlock, dropping a large chunk of tokens on one specific date. Others use a linear unlock, drip-feeding smaller amounts daily or weekly instead.

Either way, price can move, and how much depends largely on who's receiving the tokens and how big the release is next to the total supply out there.

This is exactly why keeping an eye on the Top Token Unlocks each week is worth the effort for traders. A token with a thin float facing a large unlock is the kind of setup that can get volatile fast.

Meanwhile, a token backed by strong liquidity tends to shrug off new supply without much fuss.

Token-by-Token Breakdown

BEAT (Audiera): Audiera powers an AI agent music platform on BNB Chain, where humans and autonomous AI agents interact as equal participants, creating music and competing in rhythm battles on-chain. Its token has been highly volatile in recent weeks, with sharp swings tied to whale activity. This unlock adds a modest 2.1% to circulating token quantity, but given the coin's thin trading history, the price reaction could be sharp.

  1. Price: $2.76 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: -21.37%

  3. Market Cap: $852M

  4. Circulating Supply: 309.27M / 1B BEAT

SUI (Sui): Sui is a large-cap layer-1 network built by former Meta engineers, using an object-centric data model and the Move language to improve on older blockchain designs. Its unlock this week is small relative to total supply, at roughly 0.2%. Sui's deep liquidity typically absorbs unlocks without major price swings.

  1. Price: $0.6815 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: -5.09%

  3. Market Cap: $2.76B

  4. Circulating token quantity: 4.05B / 10B SUI

EIGEN (EigenCloud): EigenCloud, formerly EigenLayer, runs a restaking and verifiable compute platform on Ethereum, letting developers build trustless off-chain applications backed by on-chain security. Monthly unlocks split between investors and the team. At 2% of supply, this is one of the larger releases on the list relative to EIGEN's size.

  1. Price: $0.1988 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: -8.07%

  3. Market Cap: $164.4M

  4. Circulating token quantity: 827M EIGEN

KITE (Kite AI): Kite is a layer-1 chain built for autonomous AI agent payments, giving agents verifiable identity and programmable governance with native stablecoin access. Only about 18% of its total token quantity is currently circulating.

  1. Price: $0.1047 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: +0.39%

  3. Market Cap: $188.5M

  4. Circulating token quantity: 1.8B / 10B KITE

BTW (Bitway): Bitway connects on-chain liquidity with Bitcoin-based lending and yield products, letting users tap Taproot and Native SegWit wallets without bridging to an EVM chain. Its token has shown strong recent gains, and this week's release adds about 1% to circulating token quantity.

  1. Price: $0.1151 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: +58.02%

  3. Market Cap: $253.1M

  4. Circulating token quantity: 2.2B / 10B BTW

ENA (Ethena): Ethena runs the USDe synthetic dollar protocol on Ethereum, with integrations spanning major platforms for minting, staking, and yield. With 64% of its 15 billion max supply already circulating, this is a smaller piece of an already large float.

  1. Price: $0.0899 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: +5.44%

  3. Market Cap: $859.2M

  4. Circulating token quantity: 9.56B / 15B ENA

ZAMA (Zama): Zama builds confidential smart contract infrastructure using homomorphic encryption, letting contracts compute on encrypted data without ever exposing it. The token has rallied sharply over the past week, and this unlock arrives during a period of high momentum and trading volume.

  1. Price: $0.0653 (CMC)

  2. 24h Change: +17.51%

  3. Market Cap: $143.6M

  4. Circulating token quantity: 2.2B / 11B ZAMA

Why These Unlocks Could Move the Market

Not every unlock ends in a sell-off, and that's worth remembering before you panic over a chart. What actually matters is who's holding the newly released tokens.

Team members and early investors tend to cash out faster, simply because they've been waiting a long time to realize gains. Tokens going to community programs or ecosystem rewards usually stick around longer, since those holders aren't in the same rush to sell.

A similar percentage unlock hits harder when there are fewer buyers around to absorb it.

Then there's the broader market mood, which honestly overrides a lot of this. Unlocks that land during a risk-off stretch tend to sting more, adding extra weight to prices already under pressure.

But when the market's in a bullish phase, that same new supply often gets soaked up by fresh demand, and nobody even notices the unlock happened.

Expert Opinion

Market analysts generally view weekly token unlocks as routine supply events rather than standalone red flags. The more useful signal is the ratio between unlock size and daily trading volume.

When that ratio is low, as with large-cap tokens like SUI, the market typically absorbs new supply without lasting disruption.

Smaller-cap tokens with thinner order books, such as EIGEN or ZAMA, tend to see sharper short-term price reactions around unlock dates.
