As of press time, the overall market cap is down 3.36% to $2.35 trillion. However, the trading volume is up 0.07% to $99.98 billion. The fear and greed index is in the extreme fear zone at 12. Meanwhile, the total liquidations in the last day totaled $284.58 million, according to Coinglass data. As the market awaits a macro signal, here are the top cryptocurrencies to buy today.

1. Cardano (ADA)

ADA is currently trading at $0.28, with a 6.7% decrease in the last 24 hours. The trading volume of the coin is down by 26.27% to $489 million, while the market cap stands at $10.1 billion.

Pressure has pushed ADA back into a major decision zone on the three-day timeframe. The recent slide dragged the price toward $0.293 and is now closer to the $0.244 support band. This area served as a strong base in the past.

Meanwhile, the broader structure still shows lower highs. The breakdown from the $0.537 mid-range level accelerated the decline. That zone now acts as firm resistance. In addition, $1.186 remains the long-term ceiling from the prior cycle peak. Momentum looks weak after the sharp drop. However, if $0.244 holds, bulls can attempt a recovery toward $0.537. If it fails, sellers may extend the downside.

2. Stellar (XLM)

XLM, the native token of the Stellar network, is currently trading at around $0.1685, with an 8.46% decrease in the past day. The trading volume of the coin is down by 14.49% to $164.5 million, while the market cap stands at $5.53 billion.

Stellar is trading in a sustained downtrend after months of lower highs. A descending trendline from the $0.40 area continues to block recovery attempts. Recently, the price rebounded from the key $0.162 support zone. Buyers stepped in at that level and lifted the price toward $0.168.

Even so, sellers still control the broader structure. The first major resistance stands near $0.25, where the trendline meets prior supply. Above that, $0.30 remains a strong ceiling from earlier breakdowns. On the downside, a daily close below $0.162 could drive the price toward $0.15. Meanwhile, the MACD has begun to flatten and is showing mild recovery signals. Momentum has improved slightly but is still fragile. Bulls must reclaim $0.20 to change the short-term outlook.

3. Litecoin (LTC)

LTC is trading at $54.32, a 2.97% decrease in the past day. The trading volume is down 3.27% to $308.6 million, while the market cap stands at $4.17 billion. Meanwhile, the coin has lost 24.79% on the monthly chart.

Litecoin is trading at a key turning point after weeks of steady decline. The price recently tapped the major support zone near $54.75 and quickly stabilized. Buyers defended this level and prevented a deeper slide toward $50. This zone now acts as strong short-term support.

 

Above current levels, $80.69 stands as the next major resistance. The price was previously rejected from that area and formed lower highs. A sustained move above $60 could open the way toward $70 first. However, bulls must build momentum before challenging $80.
