We all know cryptocurrencies for over a decade now. It started with bitcoin, the most famous crypto, and in a short time many more coins entered the market. In a little more than 10 years, there are thousands of different coins out there waiting for us to buy it.
But if we look at the last year or so, crypto has taken another direction. It's not only a coin you can use for transaction anymore. There are coins for all different kinds of uses. The most famous 'new' direction are the NFTs. Since 2020 the NFT markets have become completely booming. There are many different NFTS to be found, from NFTs used in the gaming industry to NFTs that express art & culture.
And if we look at the art & culture, we see that this industry took off lately to the 'NFT world'. There are so many projects in this industry that use NFT to sell or express their art & culture. Most famous ones are Hashmasks, Project3333 and SlimeSunday. But there are so much more amazing project!
I think this is a good development for the artwork & culture industry because it gives a lot more people access to the available artworks. And it can also be viewed from your own living room, which makes it even easier! What do you guys think of this shift? Please let me know in the comments!
