NTT Digital Joins Theta Network as Global Enterprise Validator

Today, Theta Network is announcing a strategic partnership with NTT Digital, Inc., a Web3 and digital-infrastructure company within NTT Group — Japan’s largest telecommunications and ICT enterprise. NTT Group operates through more than 900 companies worldwide, employs over 340,000 people globally, and generated ¥13.7 trillion (approximately USD 100 billion) in operating revenues in FY2024.

Through this partnership, NTT Digital is joining Theta Network as an Enterprise Validator Node operator, reinforcing our global validator ecosystem alongside industry leaders including Google, Sony, Samsung, and the recently announced Deutsche Telekom.

We’re also exploring collaboration with NTT Digital on next-generation AI infrastructure, integrating EdgeCloud’s decentralized cloud GPUs and edge computing devices to accelerate adoption of generative AI and decentralized cloud services in Japan and globally.

Securing and Validating Theta’s Native Blockchain

NTT Digital will operate an Enterprise Validator Node responsible for transaction validation, network security, and governance within Theta Network. This strengthens our institutional validator base and extends our footprint into Japan’s advanced telecom ecosystem.

Founded in 2022, NTT Digital leads the NTT Group’s blockchain and Web3 initiatives, spearheading programs such as web3 Jam, an open-innovation platform supporting enterprise blockchain adoption in Japan.
