How do you guys find the next big thing?

So I have seen people here who invested in eth back in 2017 and ada when it was 0.03$. How do you guys find such a project and you know it will be the next big thing. I am not even sure about coins above 100 rank but I guess decentralization platforms such as gaming e.g Axie Infinity and TV e.g Sator.io will be big but I’m not sure. So all people who got early where did you come to know about it? How did you DYOR? I am sure a lot of people want to take little risk but don't want invest in safedogecumrocket.
