The Founder's NFT of Imao x Imao features the first historic entry of these 2 generations into the Web3 space: Philippine National Artist Abdulmari Imao with his son, also a renowned Artist/Sculptor Toym Imao. This Imao x Imao collaboration shows the iconic Sarimanok (Philippine phoenix) as epitomized by fusing traditional Islamic design with modernist patterns to result in vivid works. Toym Imao uncovered two unfinished works of his father and he finished them with his own contemporary interpretation as shown with the music of Kulintang bells of the South.
