CryptoPunk owners can mint the randomly generated clown version of their punk for free at any time. Once the public sale opens, anyone will be able to mint clowns for unclaimed punks, but half the proceeds will be automatically transferred to the corresponding CryptoPunk owners. Cost of minting during public sale depends on whether you mint a clown from a human punk (0.08E), from a zombie (0.2E), from an ape (0.4E) or from an alien (0.8E). 10% of all profits are donated to GiveDirectly.org in contract.
