What Is Smooth Love Potion? 

The Smooth Love Potion, formally known as the Small Love Potion, is the in-game digital currency of the Axie Infinity gaming metaverse, a leading blockchain game based on the Ethereum blockchain and inspired by the popular Pokémon games series.

Players can collect, raise, breed, battle, and trade token-based creatures called Axies within the Axie Infinity Universe. Each Axie is a unique NFT that can be bred to produce more Axies or traded through an in-game P2P Axie marketplace.

Players can also earn income in the form of two ERC-20 tokens, Smooth Love Potions (SLP) and Axie Infinity Shards (AXS).

SLP can be earned as a reward by Axie Infinity players by actively participating in the Axie Infinity games in battle or adventure modes through completing quests, competing in peer-to-peer battles, etc. SLP tokens can be used to breed new Axies, which can then be traded for AXS. SLP Tokenomics

SLP is an ERC-20 gaming token for breeding Axies. After each Axie breeding, the used SLP tokens will be burned. The cost of breeding begins at 100 SLP, increasing to 200 SLP for the second breed, 300 for the third, 500 for the fourth, 800 for the fifth, 1,300 for the sixth, and 2,100 SLP for the seventh breed.

Axies can be bred up to seven times, and this limit exists to avert market hyperinflation.

Along with his ongoing role at Axie, Larsen is also a Secretary on the Board of Directors at the Blockchain Game Alliance.

How Does Smooth Love Potion Work? 

Players can earn SLP by winning a game in Axie Infinity, completing daily quests, battling other players in the Arena (PvP), or fighting in the Adventure mode (PvE).

There is a limited amount of SLP players can earn per day, and the SLP utilized for breeding will be burned once a new Axie is created.

After reaching a particular amount of SLP coins, gamers can start to breed their unique Axies.
