What is Decimated?
Decimated is a post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, blockchain-based game and virtual world. It combines elements of survival games, open-world exploration, and cryptocurrency trading. The game takes place in a dystopian future where the world has been decimated by an unknown event. Players must scavenge for resources to survive in this harsh environment while also competing against other players for control of the scarce resources.
The game features a unique blend of real-time combat and strategic resource management. Players can build their own bases, craft weapons and armor, explore the world, fight enemies and complete missions to earn rewards. In addition to these activities, players can also trade cryptocurrencies within the game’s economy or participate in tournaments for prizes.
The game also features an advanced blockchain technology which allows users to securely store items such as weapons and armor on the blockchain. This means that items are stored securely and cannot be lost or stolen by other players. This makes Decimated one of the first blockchain-based games with secure item storage.
Decimated is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access with plans for console releases in 2021. The developers have stated that they plan to add more content over time including new areas to explore, additional missions and events as well as new weapons and armor sets.
