Project52 - Djamila Fierek Genesis

I grew up in the 60th with my Hippie family in the town of Wiesbaden, Germany. At the early age of 4, 52 years ago I started to paint. Going back and forth between the United States and Germany I developed a deep understanding and passion for colors while constantly going on road trips through the United States. As a free spirit, I was able to paint all my life until now, so I am ready for my Genesis collection "Project 52", which shows my love to America, their vintage icons and the variety of intense colors. Spending plenty of time in Las Vegas, which is close to my second home, Scottsdale, Arizona, I decided to adapt one of the most famous games in the world, Poker, to my project. Why? A Pokerdeck has 52 cards, a year has 52 weeks and so on. 52 is a magical number in numerology ...... The vibrant life of Las Vegas, with all the neon lights and shows was for me the perfect influence and scenery. In this "Sin city", everything is possible, but "What Happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"
