Why can’t we have more cross-chain games?

I'm curious why the majority of NFT focuses solely on one blockchain. I want to do a deep dive into NFT games and learn everything I can about them because I don't have much information about them right now and I don't trust crypto influencers or whatever you call them on YouTube. As far as I know, there aren’t a lot of p2e games that run on several blockchains and almost all of the well-known ones only concentrate on one like Pegaxy and Aevegotchi which launched only on Polygon, and God’s unchained runs launched only on Ethereum. Why is that? The only games that I know are cross-chain are K4 Rally and Cryptoblades. I need your answer to my question and more game suggestions. Don’t get me wrong, K4 Rally and Cryptoblades are pretty great even though a lot of people are saying Cryptoblades flopped hard recently.
