Fading Forest by MasterOnChain

Fading Forest is a project by MasterOnChain, composed of seven companion works that together form a single artwork. Built as layered SVGs, animated in looping sequences with JS and CSS. 400×300 px, fully on-chain, with no dependencies. Click or tap to restart the animation. Piece #1 begins with 20 layers; each subsequent work gradually reduces the number of layers while preserving the same motion and meaning. The series reflects the layered nature of blockchains—showing how an NFT can embody provenance and an immutable history. What is the natural form of fully on-chain art? What does it mean for something to be an NFT? Can we preserve our memories, emotions, and perspectives through the medium of the blockchain?
