How to solve the difficulty adjustment issue? It took a block 85 MINUTES (yes, nearly an hour and a half!!!!) earlier today. Likely because of the difficulty adjustment getting too high and staying there while miners shut off due to high costs and low block rewards....

How to solve this? How about a more frequent difficulty adjustment mechanism? How about make it adjust "on the fly" instead of once every 2 weeks? Think about it - there's a LOT that can happen in 2 weeks' time, guys. A BUNCH. Miners can shut off and go offline, geopolitical events can snowball and cause major disparities, and it's not all that surprising mathematically, that there could be 85 minute long blocks. Which slows down the entire network and makes transacting slow and costly.

We need to find a solution to this if we ever want to be the world reserve currency!!! Ideas?
