The Ethereum-based VICE token surged 47% on Friday, briefly topping the $0.06 mark before pulling back. The sharp move follows a long period of decline since its peak in April. It also hints at a potential reversal in trend for the Web3 project.

VICE has gained significant traction over the past week, climbing 241% in 7 days, 220% in 14 days, and rising 40% over the last month. The renewed momentum is driven by speculation around a possible Tier 1 exchange listing. The team behind VICE describes the upcoming listing as a critical step toward wider global exposure.

What is VICE?

VICE runs a Web3 competition platform where users enter luxury-themed prize draws by answering simple multiple-choice questions. The VICE token is the key medium for joining weekly and monthly events, offering prizes like luxury cars, high-end goods, and exclusive lifestyle experiences. This structure helps sustain demand for the token and encourages continuous user participation.

Moreover, the project is expanding rapidly through strategic partnerships, influencer-led promotions, and broad content campaigns. To support these efforts and improve user engagement, VICE has developed a suite of platform tools designed to increase interaction and promote long-term use.

These offerings include NFT-based PlayPasses that grant access to recurring competitions, a RewardPlay system that encourages token holding through structured pools, and limited-time promotions to boost entries. Additionally, a built-in multi-currency wallet supports over 110 cryptocurrencies and more than 30 fiat currencies, making it easier for users worldwide to join.

Token Utility and Distribution

Beyond its role in competitions, the VICE token powers several other features. These include NFT-linked rewards, staking opportunities, and a burn mechanism to reduce supply over time. Additionally, the team plans periodic token burns tied to key roadmap achievements as part of their deflationary strategy.

To support these features and ensure long-term growth, the token’s total supply and distribution have been carefully structured. VICE has a total capped supply of 1 billion tokens. Its distribution model is structured to encourage ecosystem participation and long-term sustainability.

Notably, around 27.5% is allocated for ecosystem incentives and airdrops, with 25% reserved for the treasury. Liquidity receives 15%, while marketing and the core team hold 10% each. The final 12.5% is split between advisors and pre-sale contributors.
