Another nerf to the Crypto.com Visa Cards

Might not affect many people here, but for those like me who live in a country where the issued card does not match the local currency. The cards will now become a paperweight.

“Foreign Transaction Fees The Crypto.‌com Visa Card has grown to be the world’s most popular crypto-linked card that is available in 60 countries. We have made changes to ensure the long-term sustainability of our card programme and its attractive perks, including up to 5% back on spending for select cards.

Starting on 14 November 2022 for all Midnight Blue, Ruby Steel, Royal Indigo and Jade Green cardholders, we will be introducing a 0.5% foreign transaction fee that will apply for all purchases and ATM withdrawals that are not denominated in SGD, AUD, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, or USD.

Private members holding an Obsidian, Icy White or Frosted Rose Gold card will continue to enjoy zero foreign transaction fees. Find out more about Private membership here.”
