The first tattoo shop in Romania to accept cryptocurrency payments

"Geany Tattoo" is the first tattoo shop in Romania that has adopted cryptocurrency as a method of payment from clients. The owner declared that customers were the ones coming up with the idea:

Four years ago, a client came to the shop and told us he wanted to pay in Bitcoin. At that time it seemed strange to us, not knowing much about virtual coins. In the last three months, we have had people asking for crypto payments on a weekly basis. The idea stuck to my mind and, starting today (Apr 15 2021), we accept crypto payments.

They accept four coins: Bitcoin, Elrond, Ethereum and Centric.

What is interesting about this is also the fact that the tattoo shop is based in the city of Sibiu, where the first university in Romania that accepts crypto payments for tuition fees is based (announced last month).

I'm very happy to see countries like Romania adopting crypto!
