Solana ETFs Hit 7-Week Inflow Streak, But SOL Price Stays Range-Bound

Solana is holding its ground above $76 this week. That's despite a choppy few months for the token.
Spot SOL ETFs just logged their seventh straight week of inflows. Investors put in $10.26 million last week alone, the strongest showing since May 22, according to CoinGlass data.
That steady demand is keeping the token's price above a key ascending trendline near $74.50. But it still needs to clear tougher resistance before anyone can call this a real breakout.
Why are Solana ETF inflows rising for seven straight weeks?
Institutional investors haven't stopped buying the asset through regulated products, even as the price has struggled to break higher.
Seven consecutive weeks of positive flows is not a small thing. It shows that big money keeps building exposure regardless of short-term price swings.
CryptoQuant data backs this up. Whale activity is showing up in spot markets, meaning large holders are still active buyers.
At the same time, futures market leverage appears to be cooling off. That's generally a healthy sign, since it lowers the risk of sudden liquidation cascades that can crash prices fast.
What is Solana's price doing right now?
SOL is trading near $76.20 at the time of writing. That puts it just below its 50-day EMA, which sits at $75.53.
Staying above that average is a decent sign for short-term buyers. But the bigger picture is less clean.
The token remains under both its 100-day EMA at $78.07 and its 200-day EMA at $89.13. That means the broader trend is still bearish, even if the short-term mood has improved.
Indicator | Level | Signal |
Current Price | $76.20 | — |
50-day EMA | $75.53 | Support (bullish if held) |
100-day EMA | $78.07 | Resistance |
200-day EMA | $89.13 | Major resistance |
Ascending Trendline | $74.50 | Critical support |
RSI | 54.10 | Neutral, mild bullish tilt |
Are the RSI and MACD showing a bullish signal?
The RSI sits near 54.10. That's just above the neutral 50 line, meaning buyers have a slight edge over sellers right now.
It's not a strong signal either way. The RSI needs to push higher, ideally above 60, to suggest real bullish momentum is building.
The MACD indicator is holding in positive territory too. That points to demand stabilizing rather than falling apart.
Together, these readings suggest room to recover. But neither indicator is screaming breakout just yet.
What price levels matter most for Solana this week?
The first hurdle for SOL bulls sits at $78.07, where horizontal resistance lines up with the 100-day EMA.
A daily close above that zone would ease some of the technical pressure. From there, the 200-day EMA at $89.13 becomes the next real test.
If buyers push through that level too, traders may start eyeing the $96.19 zone, which was a prior resistance area.
On the downside, the 50-day EMA at $75.53 is the first line of defense. If that breaks, the ascending trendline near $74.50 becomes the more important support to watch.
A daily close below $74.50 would weaken the current recovery attempt. That could open the door to a deeper pullback within the broader trading range.
Solana price prediction: what could happen next?
For now, the token looks stuck between steady ETF demand and a technical setup that hasn't fully turned bullish.
The seven-week inflow streak is a genuine positive. It shows institutions aren't walking away even during price weakness.
But price action still needs to confirm that optimism. A clean break above $78 would go a long way toward shifting sentiment. Until then, SOL likely keeps chopping between $74.50 and $78 as buyers and sellers fight it out.
Some traders may see the current setup as an early accumulation phase. Others will want to wait for a confirmed breakout before adding exposure. Both approaches carry their own risks given how choppy the recent price action has been.
