NFTs and metaverse have given businesses ways to connect with customers. As of now, Hermes, the Paris-based luxury brand, is the latest to enter the space and has gone for trademark filing.
The company has filed a trademark for its name to make it big in NFTs & virtual currency, virtual goods marketplaces, fashion shows, crypto, clothing, footwear and NFT trading.
The trademark was filed on August 26 with the USPTO and the news was shared by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis on Twitter.

Once the trademark filing gets approved, Hermes will step into offering downloadable computer game software that will have virtual goods as well as user authentication services via e-commerce and other technologies.
The popularity of metaverse, crypto and NFTs in recent times has enticed several companies to enter into the space.
