Absurd Arboretum - The Reserve: ROOT

For the one year anniversary of selling out both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Absurd Arboretum, one of the first large collections of procedurally generated high-resolution audiovisual animations in the NFT space, we have once again invited a good friend of ours, a world-renowned computational designer who wishes to stay anonymous, to co-create with us and add to this ever-expanding series of high-quality art. As a researcher specializing in generative modeling and the visualization of natural systems, the artist has developed a custom algorithm and parametrically simulated the emergent growth and branching dynamics of tree roots over time. Trees grow slow, but strong. Titled ROOT, and following prior sets of limited edition pieces including BLOOM and the VENATION, this token not only appropriately marks an important milestone of the project, but also signifies its potential and further growth in the future.
