Orchard is a Significant Milestone

Pirate Chain's transition to Orchard will be a significant milestone for the project's history. Orchard is the transactional implementation of the Halo2 zero-knowledge proving system. Orchard will bring to Pirate Chain an improved trustless setup from the original Zcash Foundation Powers of Tau trusted setup of 87 participants for Sapling. Orchard also supports recursive proofs, which will be instrumental in the future of Pirate Chain for faster synchronisation capabilities.
