Coinbase Introduces Wrapped Coins to Expand Network

In a strategic initiative aimed at expanding its DeFi-focused Layer-2 network, Base, Coinbase has introduced wrapped versions of the altcoins XRP and Dogecoin, named cbXRP and cbDOGE. These new tokens are backed by reserves held at a 1:1 ratio with the original coins, facilitating their integration into the Ethereum ecosystem.
