A previously inactive Shiba Inu whale has re-emerged with a massive token transfer worth millions. After months of silence, the wallet holder moved over 150 billion SHIB from Bybit to a personal wallet, sparking fresh attention across the crypto community.
According to Arkham, the wallet had remained dormant since early 2024, with no significant SHIB activity recorded. The only notable past movement was an Ethereum transaction nearly a year ago involving 150 ETH, valued at just under $336,000 then.
The holder has transferred four large SHIB amounts from Bybit, totaling more than 150 billion tokens. The most substantial transaction was 107 billion SHIB, valued at approximately $1.68 million based on its transfer time. The most recent move occurred 18 hours ago, adding over 20 billion SHIB to the wallet—worth around $318,000.

The transactions took place gradually, suggesting a deliberate effort to manage the movement scale. The wallet now holds around 151.6 billion SHIB, which, based on current market value, amounts to over $2.6 million in holdings.

Large Transfers Hint at Shift in Strategy
The renewed whale activity reflects a shift in focus away from centralized platforms. Each transfer was made directly from Bybit into the personal wallet, potentially signaling a desire for tighter control or reduced exposure to exchange-based risks.
Such actions are typically interpreted as a move toward long-term holding. Off-exchange transfers are regularly perceived by market analysts as a signal of confidence from holders with high values interested in preserving their places on the market amid its changing conditions.
This wallet, which had been low-key for most of the year, is now in the top most-watched SHIB addresses. The unexpected reawakening has bred rumors about potential future moves or trading plans.
With SHIB’s price still relatively flat, such large holders as this still catch attention for what they might do. Observers are keeping a close eye on any further movement that could shift market sentiment or influence trading volumes.
Since the wallet’s holdings have surged past the $2.6 million mark, the crypto sphere is once more alerted to the silent but formidable role that whales play in determining token movements.
