![]() | I am not sure if this is related to the drying up of liquidity on exchanges but Bybit is really out there with it's marketing. To be clear, I am not a user of Bybit and was just browsing the site to see what kind of wacky terms of service crypto traders are accepting without reading it. But I ended up learning about Bybit's REALLY aggressive marketing. It's hard to say if they were always like this or recently became so in an effort to stall falling trading revenue experienced across the sector. All I did was enter the webpage to be greeted with promises of 200USDT and an iPhone 15. Further to this, on the main page there is also a signup bonus where you can (supposedly) earn up to $5000USD. And then what's even more is if you try to navigate away from the signup page, you suddenly be halted and promised another $20 in reward if you just sign up. Of course, all of us know that these are only offers to potentially earn these sums and products and it will be impossible for the vast majority of people to do so. The amount of referrals you need to earn anything decent is probably ridiculously high and the amount of actions you'd need to take take to meet the criteria and redeem will be extensive. In the massive longshot you did earn anything significant, the exchange would have made way more money off of you than you did from it. Most of the promises of big cash rewards are often prize pools were you may only earn a few dollars at the end of it anyhow. [link] [comments] |
